How to Create/Verify/Connect your Whatsapp Business API to ChatDaddy?
Learn how to integrate WhatsApp Business API with ChatDaddy
Please note, by applying for Whatsapp Business API with Chatdaddy, you acknowledge and agree to the conversation charges. (Merchants using the WhatsApp Business platform are charged per conversation, which includes all messages delivered within a 24-hour conversation period.) For your reference, please find the conversation rate table here. Before using the service, please review the rates carefully and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Steps
- Login to your ChatDaddy account and go to Manage Channels.
- Click Add more channels.
- Input your preferred channel name and choose WhatsApp Business API(WABA) as the account type.
- Click Sign up to start registration or Activate Existing Number to migrate your number from another BSP to ChatDaddy.
- Log in to your Facebook Business Manager account, then click Get Started and Continue.
- Choose your existing Meta business account and click Next.
- Decide to create a new WhatsApp Business Account or use an existing phone number, then click Next. In case a business whatsapp app account is linked to the number you’re trying to get the API on, please use the app to delete the account first, wait for 3-4 minutes and then continue. Please note, the number will start afresh, all chats will be lost and you will not be able to receive any messages till the process is complete and the API request approved.
- Enter your business information for the WhatsApp Business profile and click Next.
- Obtain the OTP via the registered phone number.
- Enter the OTP to complete the WABA application and click Done.
- After successfully applying for WABA, you will also need to fill in the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) details form for the number to be approved. This modal should pop up automatically but if not, then click the three dots on the Whatsapp Business API channel card, and select submit ISV Details.
- Fill the required details on this form. Click the “Esign ISV Terms here’ link, carefully read and and sign the document (you will need a business stamp copy or a digital business stamp for this), then download a PDF and upload it on this form.
- At this point, the Channel Card should update with your WABA details and show pending approval.
- Click Refresh WABA details to check the latest status of your WABA account. If it says “Approved”, your WABA application has been approved by Facebook Meta. If it says “Rejected/Pending”, you may need to relink your meta account with ChatDaddy to appeal with Facebook Meta. Please reach out to customer support by clicking here to open the WABA service. It takes less than 1 day and max 2 days (in most cases) for approval status to update.
- After the channel is approved, you can update the Profile picture and add a description on the same card on Manage Channels page.
You’re done setting up your channel! Reach out to us if you face any issues at any point.
